Finally, after years of having a 4x4 that looks like a C5, I can finally post in a "slammed" thread. Its lowered on stock bolts but its a huge difference from stock:
Heres mine lowerd on stock bolts but Im still truckin compared to some of you guys out there. My question is how do you get around without damaging anything under your car? Im affraid if I go in a slightly steep driveways Ill scrape my Lt's. Believe me I would love to buy longet bolts for the rear and (I guess cut the front bushing or romove them completely)?
I've driven a number of lowered cars and have lowered my C6 a little with the stock bolts but, for the guys hovering 1.5" above the ground, how do you enjoy driving? That would get stressful because I'd always be rubbing something. I currently have to slow way down for railroad tracks and the usual driveways/speed bumps.

I have to slow down a littel bit for things like that and driveways and take them at an angle, but if you are driving slow, everyone can see you
I just lowered mine on the stock bolts. Drove it around for a few miles to settle it in and when I measured it after I got back home it had settled about 7/8 inch in the rear and 1/2 in the front. Will this continue to settle some? Will I have to cut some off the bushing in the front to even things up? Do I need to wait longer than I have for it to settle more. Input appreciated.
