When you picked up your car at the dealer I imagine it was the first time for many of you driving a Vette. How many of you stalled it leaving the lot. This is a fear of mine  Oh well I guess I could just rev it and pop it, should be fun
Nope, I didn't stall mine at the NCM. Just remember that the clutch engages FAST on a Z06 especially.
Now I did stall it once later. I had to drive the wife's Jetta for two weeks while she was away.
I went to take the Vette out for the first time in nearly two weeks (lot's of rain). I had gotten used to the "loose" clutch on the Jetta and I stalled getting in first! :bb
Then I proceeded to do the jerky thing were it lurches back and forth.
Exactly. Don't even think about it. If it happens, oh well. When WC or F1 drivers can stall a car coming out of the pits, I think it is OK if we stall a new car at the lot. But the thing with the Z is it has SO much power, you really can just ease the clutch out with very little throttle and the car just eases away.
