Default TPIS INSTALL SHOULD COMPUTER BE REPROGAMED?

I am installing TPIS headers on my Z..I have Donaldson, and the screen is removed..I have heard there is only 6-7 HP in the Computer when it is re-programmed..My question, is should the computer be programmed with these mods, and if so, what HP and TQ gains would i realize?? Would there be more
with these mods??ZZZZZZZ

db -- I'm having my TPIS long-tubes installed AS I WRITE (weeeeeeeeeee! :D), and I've been told that the computer need not be reprogrammed. Rather, the battery will be disconnected during the install, and the computer will re-learn my driving style (read: re-learn all of it parameters) on it's own afterward.

I, too, have the Blackwing on my car. I'm not sure what the HP gains should/will be, but I understand them to be substantial. ;)

Oliver -- Wow. Got the car back from the header install tonight. It's just insane. I even scared myself on the way home. I'll post more tomorrow!

The first mods on my car were DRM headers, Donaldson, and Corsas. With no computer changes it ran flawlessly. No lean codes, just POWER! :yesnod: Your computer should be fine. Reprogram it if you do heads and cam like Tony said. Soon enough you'll want more hp, we all do. :seeya

Thanks for theinput.I am also planning on going to ARE in Toronto, as i live a couple hours from there and have heard good things about them.Planning on a stage 2 head and cam package, from what i have heard, about 410 RWHP from this.. I was seriously thinking of an 02, but, not much sence if your going with the head cam package. Due for late September, cant wait ZZZZZZ
