All Lights Cutting Off

All Lights Cutting Off
Hi I'm new to the forum I bought a black 98 C5 m6 two months ago.
I was driving home last night and the dash & headlights started to
blink when I got to the house I got out and let the car run with all
the lights on, wallked around and all the lights were cutting on & off
at the same time! So I did a search and seen the threads on ground
connections but seems no one had all their lights cut off and on. It
looks like I need to clean all the grounds but for right now can anyone
tell me if this is the problem and which wire to look for?
I want to thank the forum members for all the tips and info I have
