So glad I made the change....
Yesterday I installed a 06 Z06 shifter in my 02 and what a difference!! Silky smooth, no notchyness and it still has the old trans fluid in it. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice change to stock C5. Thanks to Gene@fredbeans...

i have been debating in going to this mod. im not sure which aftermarket shifter i have and would like to change mine out. Glad you like yours. it makes me sway to that shifter each time i hear a good comment
