Default Runflat Alignment Specifications

Has anyone used the VBH daily driver alignment specs for runflat tires? http://www.vbandp.com/instructions/h...ruct/align.htm

I see they recommend 1/32" total toe for the front and 1/16" total toe for the rear. How does this equate with the factory specs which are given in degrees?

I would really like to get rid of the light wandering steering, but I don't want to cause excessive wear on the runflats.

Thanks

I used VBand P's Advanced Street settings....
Improves turn in and greatly reduces tramlining from the old settings...

Thanks. Do you have runflats on your C5? Also, they specify the toe in inches instead of degrees. I don't understand how they can use inches instead of degrees to specify toe.

Just got back from getting the C5 aligned. I went in because my steering wheel was off approximately 5 degrees from center when driving straight. The car tracked straight on the highway and while braking, but seemed overly sensitive and susceptible to bump steer.

Measurements Before Alignment

I was amazed how far the alignment was out of specification. I am always very careful to avoid pot holes and I have never hit a curb with the tires.

Measurements After Alignment

There was a big improvement after the alignment. The steering no longer felt light and sensitive and bump steer was minimal. When I got home I was comparing the printout to the factory specifications. Everything was within specification except rear cross camber. The individual rear cambers were within specification, but the cross camber was 0.7 degree and the maximum permitted is 0.5 degree. I don't think this will cause any tire wear and the alignment shop will redo the alignment when I bring the car back.
