Stupid Question...

Sorry for posting such a lame thread, but...

I just got my first vette - a 2002 Z06 and the dealer didn't have a manual for it. I'm trying to figure out what the middle button on the rear view mirror does (other than turn the green LED on and off).

Any help would be great.

Sounds like you have the electrochromatic mirror option. That turns on the auto-dimming rear view and drivers side mirrors. At night, it will reduce glare from oncoming lights. Sort of makes things look a bit green, but its a very nice feature especially with a car thats pretty low compared to most cars.

Not many options were available on the Z's. Electrochromatic Mirrors, Memory Package and Body Side Moldings was about it I believe.
