Ditto. Tire pressures on doors are provided by the car manufacturer. Tire pressures on tires are presented by the tire manufacturer. The best often lies somewhere in the range between the two. On my run flats, I ran at 30lbs and found them stiff and unyielding. Changing pressures did nothing to alleviate that issue which include the little "speed hop" that we all recognize. Once I removed the run flats, 30 lbs was not enough. I played with pressures and found I get the best ride and tightest "feel" at 32-33 lbs.

As an aside, I find the big Michelins on my Denali feel best at 40lb despite the general's guideline of 35. They have been great tires with 3 out of 4 running over 50k and looking like new. One was bit by a freeway debris field and was replaced.

30 psi cold, they will heat up (in the summer) to 34 psi. Notice that the door sticker says to add 4 psi if they are hot (bringing it to 34 psi).
