We always take the dog with us in the Vette, and he trys to 'dig' a 'nest' in the carpeting before he settles down. I don't want to spend the $$ on a nice cargo mat, 'cause he'll just dig up the logo embroidery and **** me off. I saw a cheap cargo mat once, but I don't remember where. Please point me in the direction of something that will keep Winston from getting in trouble. Custom fit, but cheap carpeting so it isn't expensive. Thanks.
This may be a repeat. Got a strange message on first attempt.
From the sound of what you want, I would go to a carpet store/installer, and ask for a small remnant, to cut and fit the cargo area. Get a piece with the foam backing. They may give it to you free or maybe charge you $5.00 or so. At any rate, it would do the job, el cheapo. or..go to Walmart, etc and buy a one piece, across the rear rubber floormat, for a regular size car, cut in half and use in cargo area..or..
Cheers

A carpet store for a small remnant sounds like a great idea. You could cut to fit and might even get the color to match your interior. It would sure be worth a try.
