Default Sports Seats Electrical Problem

I am having problems with the driver's side sports seat in my 98. Looks like the fuses are good but the bolsters and the lumbar funcitons are not working. The power seat adjustments are working fine just not the lumbar and the bolsters. They work fine on the passenger seat. Wonder if it could be contacts need cleaning. If so can I take my seat out and clean the switches contacts? I thought I heard a faint motor noise but not sure.
Thank you,
Bill

Both the lumbar and bolsters are operated with air. I would suggest if you're hearing a motor noise the compressor is probably alright. I'd check the hoses for leaks. You'll have to take the seat apart which is not difficult (see the VetteEssentials site for directions). There are small rubber hoses running all over the back of the seat and one is probably loose or leaking.

Edit: while you've got the back apart cover the bolster with indoor/outdoor carpet like VE shows so it doesn't poke thru.
