Default Stainless/ Chrome wiper arms

Does anyone know a good place to find stainless steel or chrome windshield wiper arms? Found one site sponsor that has them but they are over $300. Thanks.

I bought a set on Ebay for $20.00 and Advance Chroming out of Nasville, TN is charging me $90.00 to chrome both of them. It's going to take 8-12 weeks for them to be done.

Advanced Plating in Nashville did mine. I think that it was $200 for the pair.

Just a suggestion (no pics), if you get the chrome wipers, you have to have the black plastic that they sit on, Painted the same color as your car. Or, as I did, had the wipers and the plastic painted the color of my car. Chrome wipers sitting on that ugly black plastic just doesn't look right, IMO. CEC wipers for $650 + s&h is outrageous, and I like the company and have bought from them; that's just nuts!

I agree that the OEM black plastic stinks. Like Doug said, you need to 1)Paint the cowl gloss black, 2) paint the cowl the same as the body color, or 3) buy the carbon fiber "Cowl Insert" as shown above on my car. It slips right on.

Why would anyone want to pimp up a vette with chrome wiper blades. You might as well get you a set of 24 inch wheels that stick 6 inches outside the wheel wells and some curb feelers for all for fenders. A few mods on a vette are nice, but don't go overboard, you will destroy an already great car....

That is your opinion, you are entitled to it, and I respect your opinion. It's too bad that you have no respect for those who don't agree with you. My car is not a daily driver, it is a "garage queen", I store it in the winter, I don't drive it in the rain or snow, I keep it immaculately clean and ready to show. I use my car the way that I want to, and the narrow minded people who criticize me can run their cars through the Mohave Desert for all I care!

BTW, I feel kind of sorry for all the "pimps" down in Little River with you on patrol!

(...with this part of the quote, anyway...)

Whereas I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's "pimping" the car, I would say that, asthetically, you're drawing attention to... Well.. Wiper blades.

There's no other chrome on the exterior of these cars. Unless you have, say, chrome wheels on the car, the wipers could stick out like a sore thumb. And if you DO have chrome wheels on the car, then... They'd bring out the chrome in an non-performance piece that would be shaved off of most show cars anyway.

Personally, I'd rather have my wipers disappear into the black cowl like they do now. I don't see much point in enhancing a part like a wiper blade. Engine and interior dress-up is one thing (and I'm not too into that, either) -- but I don't see the whole wiper blade thing. You guys who like the chrome wiper look, what's your though process on this?

Just another point of view for consideration (or discarding)!

Well, some do want their rides to stand out - I do, and it is not pimp, it's BLING
