Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm trying to gather info on shipping a car from NC to TX. Anybody have any experience or have a company to suggest???
Believe it or not FedEx will ship your car. A co-worker of mine bought a car on Ebay and had FedEx ship it up to Boston from Georgia. Check out this link

I just had a car shipped ('05 Mercedes S 600) that I bought from a dealer. I used their primary shipper - Dealer-to-Dealer. I had it shipped in an enclosed trailer that was air conditioned. They did a great job and got it here without any damage in 2 1/2 days. They gave me an exact pick-up and delivery date. I scheduled it 2 days before the pick up date.
Fed Ex will not give you a scheduled pick-up or delivery date. And, they said it could have taken up to 3 weeks to get my car.

Call Goldrush motorsports transport. I have used them to ship my Vette, My Wife's Vet, and countless custom motorcycles from my shop. No complaints. http://www.goldrushmotorsports.com/
