C5 rules...
I saw a recent Armor All commercial in which the owners of the cars are swooning over their cars... the guy that rides his lawn mower through the hedges while looking at his Electron Blue C5...
What struck me funniest was... the C6 has been out for about 2 years and they still chose still use C5!

Hey, Dave! Well, I agree, little brother. The new commercial you described is great. And, I just caught wind of it a couple of days ago. IMHO: The advertizers could certainly have opted for the C6, but, chose not to. And, to it's credit, the C5 remains as one of the most beautifully designed high performance vehicles on the planet. The Corvette C5's swooping muscular lines move many an motorsports enthusiast.

4 of my magazines have an ad for something ,don't know what, that has a nassau blue c5 ina picture frame . we bought a c5 exactly like that right down to same wheels and when i saw the ad i was pretty pleased . by the way only driven it twice in about 6 weeks,,,,,we don't have license plates for it .

I've always been one to quickly adapt to a new body style, and immediately think of the previous generation as out dated...however, with the new c6, though I think it is a beautiful car, I really believe that the c5 is still one of the best looking cars on the road.

I'm counting down until that troll from C6 Gen stumbles onto this thread and tells us all that we are in denial and that we're jealous of the C6. Oh and we're frustrated Firebird drivers and that the C6 looks like a Ferrari.....

I saw the same commercial last night. Having an electron blue vette myself, it made me very proud to own my baby and brought a smile to my face.
