Got my Vette

and it's a Z!

it's a 2001 Z06, torch red mod red interior with all kinds of Breathless goodies (cam, headers, polished/ported heads, h-pipe etc) and power to rival our Cobra that we sold. I am so happy I just can't wipe the smile off my face.

And that Corvette wave thing? That is so cool!!!

I also posted in General but wanted to make sure I introduced myself here as well.

Congrats, and welcome. I as well am only a new born, 4-day old owner!

About the wave -> that's cool.

About the grin -> is there something wrong with me? The car excites me more than a rollercoaster, but no grins. More of a "whoa" here and there, but never a grin!

welcome. i went a few years without a vette in the stable and missed that wave. E36 M3 owners usually wave at each other too, but it's just not the same. most BMW & Benz drivers have their noses so high in the air when they pass each other it creates an aero drag that knocks a tenth off their qrt mile time! the only trap you need to beware in your exitement is when you are driving your "other" car and see a vette, you wave, and they look at you kinda funny and give you a confused half wave back! then as you pass, you realize your vette is at home and you feel a little :o

it will happen... LOL
