I have one by Warranty Direct - Zero deductible, top line coverage. Cost me $1900 for four years, 60K miles. I bought it after my original factory warranty had expired.
Just bought a GMPP major guard, $0 deductible, 4 yrs. 32,000 miles for $1120 at my Chevy dealer for my 03 Z06. 10% down and the rest split over the next 12 months at 0% interest on my credit card. It was cheaper with the low miles purchased. I only put alittle over 3000/year. Good luck, hope this helps.

I got the same package 4/32k/0$. I paid a little more than that ($1300).
My last car I put 34k miles on in just over four years, so I figured this would be a good option for me.
This is where I get confused. Is the time from the date of purchase of the warranty or from when the car was new? Also are the miles total miles on the car or additional miles on top of the miles already on the car?
Say 4/60, is that for 4 years from today or until the car reaches an additional 60K miles from the time the warranty was purchased.? Or is it 4 years from new or until the car reaches a total of 60,000 miles. Or??????

It depends on the warranty. With the GMPP it is from the date the warranty was sold, and the miles are in addition to what is already on the odometer. I had about 18k on the odometer, so my GMPP covers me for 48 months from the date of purchase or until the odometer hits 50k.
With Warranty Direct the mileage is the mileage on the odometer. For example, if you have 45k on your odometer and purchase a 4/60 from Warranty Direct, you're covered for 48 months from the date the warranty was purchased or until your odometer hits 60k. So you've really only bought yourself 15k miles worth of coverage.
You'll need to read the fine print of all the warranty quotes you get. They vary.

GMPP starts at the end of the original warranty, i.e. 3years or 36 months. Mine on a 2003 covers my car untill 2011 or approximately 68000 miles.
Bought mine from the dealer when I bought the car (2002), seem to recall it was around $900 at the time... But then, it only added 2 years or 24,000 miles to the base warranty of 3/36... Considering I only have about 6,100 miles on it now, I guess the 5 year time will be up first...
I don't have one on it yet, but I'm sure I'll get a GMPP. I had one with my 99 Z and had great service. In fact, I'd forego the factory warranty if I could jump right into the GMPP!
