I was having problems with my control module on the drivers side door and deciced to buy another one from the dealer. It came in today and took me fifteen minutes to replace it. Before I installed it I compared the two units and noticed that the circuit board of the new one was very different. It didnt have any resistors and had a couple of extra chips. I thought I had ordered the wrong one. The connections were the same so I replaced it anyway. Every thing work great and I did not get anymore codes. I took it for drive around the neighborhood and immediatly noticed it had more horespower. At first I thought it was my imagination but it was too much my car realy jumped when I stepped on it. I drove it on the highway and noticed my average gas mileage had gone up from 20-21(it's been in that range since I bought it) to 29! I guess I bought an upgraded module and I'm loving it! Anyone think they know what happened and how much HP it went up?
