Default Goodbye....Sort of..

Sold my '01 Quicksilver Coupe about 2 weeks ago. The garage seemed way to empty, so I was on the hunt for a toy/investment. I looked around for something that enticed me, but I kept reverting to Vette's.
I bought this 1978 Pace Car this morning. 20,122 original miles. I do miss the C5 and all the technology, but this is sweet!!

Congrats & Stick around!
Just curious, why did you sell your C5 and go for an older model?
Glad to see you bought another vette. I would also have a real hard
time driving something else after that.

That is a great looking car. When you come to your senses you can always get another C5.

If GM would bring back that body style with an updated interior, I'd buy one!

The 78 Pace Car was the Vette I fell in love with when I was a kid. I made a large scale model of it that I stared at for many hours during my childhood.

Congrats!

I loved my C5. I did everything I wanted to it and it became a very beautiful garage queen. I started to view it in a financial perspective, which started to weigh a little heavy on me. To me, it is one of the coolest looking cars ever made. I am proud to say that I was able to get far enough in life to have owned it and not regret one second of it. Let's see how the C3 does. Life is short. I now have my second Vette. I am happy. .......(wife does not share the joy)

That driveway belongs to the guy I bought it from. The C3 will have a new home inside a huuuuge garage.

Nice looking pace car! I always liked the C3's. When you really start missing the C5 you can always pick another one up and then have something new and something old.
