The conversion is cool, but does anybody know if these tops can be found anywhere? I'm interested in replacing the top on my vert with one of these if you can buy them somewhere.
Good find by those guys at 3SI. Anyone make it into the 9s yet over there?
Not yet, but they're trying.
I've owned 5 of them and 2 turbo cars (VR4 and Stealth). Fun and fast cars but they weigh a ton. Not really designed as drag strip cars, but if you strip enough parts off them you could get there. It's probably just a matter of time now. I must say I prefer the Vette these days.
Fairly cool, but it might be a vert with zo6 badges ect...

NONSENCE. It is authentic. I watched it built as both my C5,s were being built.
Here,s one of them. So much for fairley cool.. A vert and coupe at the push of a button
.
Nice, but a bit too expensive for me to realistically consider. Judging by the way it folds it looks like you'd have to change the trunk opening regardless of whether it was power or not. Still, I'd think a manual fold version might still be had for less than $5000 if they decided to make one. Oh well, it's still pretty cool to look at.
