The look of the cuts in the hardtop don't appeal to me.
Also it looks like it takes up all the trunk space.

A bit over 10k for a z06 or 12k for a convertible...or something rediculous like that. Done by coach motorworks, here in Fl.

The top does take up a lot of the trunk space - saw the vendor displaying these at Bowling Green several years ago.

Saw it on display at the
Texas Motor Speedway show a couple years back.
Very nice but high dollar, ($10,000).

I saw it at Texas Motor Speedway. It is appealing but I wonder about service after the sale.

At the Carlisle auction 2 years ago, the 99 demo from the company in FL that made these sold with 300 miles on it for $28,000.
I thought that price was not too bad for a unique new car.

Looks like a novel idea! I always wanted to see a retractable hardtop on a Vette - kinda like the SLK/SL Benzes. They did it on the G6, GM should try it on the Vette. After all, the XLR has it already and their (Chevy's) truck, the SSR! Why they did this to a truck and not a sportscar is beyond me. Offer it as an option like what Mitsubishi did with the 3000GT Spyder, Im sure it will be a hit.

I emailed them today and the price for the conversion is now $14,500! They also said they are currently on hold for doing them, and to check back in a couple of months?
If I had that kind of money to spend, I would just get a C6 convertible...
