Snubbed by a C6 today

I was cruising down to Sandy Hook, NJ with the GF on the Garden State Parkway when I saw a C6 just getting onto the highway ahead of me. So, I cruise up nice and easy alongside, and notice that there are some slight mods to the black Connecticut plate C6. An obvious exhaust upgrade, and upon closer look at the flanks, "465" badges on the front fender.
"Wow", I thought, here's another Vette enthusiast! I looked over while alongside and smiled and gave a friendly wave
Took a moment for the driver and his wife to notice, and then she half heartedly waves back. Lol, he on the other hand looks over and gives a dirty look!!!! Hahahahaha!!!! All those stories are true!!!! Lol, even if he did have "465", or whatever the heck that meant, he wouldn't have had a snowball's chance in hell against my little old C5!!!!
I have only come across 5 or 6 while driving the vette here in Aiken.4 of them I know the people and the other 2 seemed pretty nice. They talked to me at the gas station.
Should have come on the NY Tots For Toys run, alot of really nice cars.
Wish I could have been there.
I'm sure the participants would have waved

I nearly turned around and hunted the bastage down....
I don't get pissed like that anymore...

As a C6 guy, I wave at anything that comes close to a Corvette...here in So Cal, you would see cell phone cameras out of windows taking snap shots of your rare C5.

It looks like we're destined to have one of these threads every week that will feed the C6 ego about how the C5 guys are crying about them not waving to us. This one is probably already referenced in C6 General.

Obviously not a factor in your case, but I think a lot of times you just don't recognize a Vette as it's coming straight toward you. I know that happens with me.

I would have loved to go, but the thought of driving up 34th street was just too much! My car is sooooo low right now, it just barely clears smooth roads, so taking a 4x4 ride through the streets of NYC with my Vette was out of the question.
It really was a beautiful day though, and Lorraine and I were thinking of all the beautiful cars over in Manhattan when we looked across the water from the beaches on the Hook and could see the Empire State building clear as day. Hope you guys had a great time!

and here's a wave back!Love your collection of kick azz toys! It's nice seeing someone out there who enjoys the best of the best!
Thanks for the kudos and compliments! Enjoy the sunny So Cal sunshine!
...similar thing happened to me...I waved...the guy looked at me like I was from outer space and I started laughing and then he flipped me off
