Help! Rear View Mirror Removal
Probably a stupid question but before I break my winshield can someone help me on how to remove the rearview mirror? Its rattling after I bought the mirror bracket for the radar detector. And by the way dont waste your money on that product.

On mine there is a small set screw just below where the shaft coming out of the mirror attaches. Loosen that and pull the mirror up toward the top of the windshield. Perhaps all you need to do is push down on the mirror and tighten the set screw.

I believe it's a torx but the mount itself will stay on the windshield. What mount did you buy? I purchased the Vettemount from Ecklers for my Passport, modified the passport suction cup mount - works great but had to use a little blue locktite to keep the mount tight.
