Having a Duramax is the right tool for the job(if he were to want to take the vette and the boosa to the mountains) Diesels were made to PULL! I know I own one!
I grew up in Pontiac, MI. Home of the Automobile! Car are a passion for me and to see the ONLY original American sportscar pulling a trailer I think it is Silly!

Well, in MY opinion, its pretty darn sporty to see a Z06 (one of the worlds fastest cars) pulling the worlds fastest motorcycle, best of both worlds. Too bad some people cannot think outside the box. I've towed with my 92 Corvette Convertible my small trailer with my racing equipment from Indiana to Las Vegas and back 4 times to do the Silver State Classic open road race. Towed the Vette there one time with the Yukon, humm, 11.4 MPG for a 5000 mile round trip, EXPENSIVE. 26 MPG in a convertible, top down thru the Grand Canyon,,, PRICELESS! The point; what matters is that you use your Corvette, and how I use it isn't for you to judge.

I've seen several C5's pulling small trailers to autox's. I saw a Boxster pulling a trailer last month in Savannah at one. I should have rigged my old 944 to pull my Z to a PCA track event. I'd like to see the look on the faces of the hard core Porsche guys.

Z06guy..... If you actually went to a bunch of events I cant believe you have not seen a car there (vette or not) towing a tire trailer, I have been to only a few HPDE's and there is always a bunch of people towing tag along trailers with tires/tools on them. I personally think towing a small load (under 1000 lbs) is perfectly acceptable especially if its a set of track tires or sportbike
