I just had some work done to my 2000 C-5 Convertible. Installed long tube headers, high flow cats, adaptors, merge style pipe,02 wiring extenders etc. A new black wing air intake,Billy Bob exhaust, fuel filter, plus, wires and a LS1 Editor Custom Program. Now even after the car is warm there is a ticking sound coming from what seems like the headers. It almost sounds like the Fuel Injectors echoing inside the headers is this possible? Any info would be appreciated. Its also an automatic.Otherwise than that it sounds amazing and certainly has picked up some horse 60 on the dyno to be exact.

Once I installed mine I realized the same thing. I also read a thread b4 this explaining the same noise, so I guess this is common. Ive had them on the car since fed and no probs other than the ticking and more power! Hopefully this helps

Usually normal. Keep in mind that headers are higher quality (but thinner) metal, which "muffles" less of the normal sound.
If it is really bad it could be an exhaust leak, but probably nothing to worry about...

I agree with the others. Probably fuel injectors and/or the occasional sound from the evap purge solenoid (although it doesn't operate continuously). The smaller more slender size of the Bosch injectors may also be a contributing factor to their being heard more easily.

O.K.so I should just learn to live with it and enjoy the extra ponies!!
I had a louder ticking noise occur in my car after i put my long tubes in. I believe it's from the rockers and since your exhaust is open so much more because of the LT's you can hear them a little louder.
