Annoying dash rattle
Last night I took apart the dash and took the gauge clusters out looking for the rattle. Everything in that area seemed secure so I put the gauges back in, rolled the windows up, put the roof back on, drove around for 15 minutes and did not hear the rattle. I reassembled the rest of the dash and tightened all the screws I could find, then drove around for another 15 minutes and did not hear the sound. I assumed the problem was fixed. While driving to work this morning I begin hearing the rattle again. The rattle is coming from the driver side and sounds like its around the HUD area, but not 100% sure. The HUD displays fine and has full range of display motion.
I want to take the top part of the dash off, but I haven't been able to find any directions on how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
