Don't understand...
Has anyone had their front springs changed do to "sheering" or "fractureing" ? I asked one guy why my newly replaced front air spoiler (which I replaced) was rubbing the ground so much. Maybe I didn't position it right. It felt like it went right into place. And he came up with this possibility.

I changed my springs because the front was splitting. I wasn't going to wait for it to split in half, so I installed new Z06 springs and sway bars.
It was split when I bought it used, so I don't know if it was mistreated or if this is common problem.
