I know someone must have broken one of these before so help me out. When I purchased the car I put on a Corsa Cat back, while I was doing this I noticed that someone had broken one of the studs for the muffler hanger, I want to replace this right away before I lose my muffler.
My question... how do you access the u bolt/ stud that holds the hanger to the frame?? I assume it is accessed from the bottom of the car, I haven't really gotten under the car and looked for an access point, so I'm hoping someone can just point me in the right direction.

The rear hanger "u bolt" is actually two studs welded to a flat bar. Occasionally someone looses the stud(s) up into the rear of the facia and has to retrieve it via magnets, bubblegum, etc. If one of the studs is broken entirely off the unit then the entire rear facia will have to be removed to replace it. There is no access hole, route, or other means that I know of to get to it. A lot of work for someones lack of a torque wrench.
