service traction control system light

just got in my 97 today and check engine light came on with the traction control light and the dic said service traction control system. anyone ever have this problem? what is the fix? anyone know?

looked it up on the code list and i did not see it on there..i got the service tcs,AH,and abs..it went away and everything works...im goin to clean all the grounds like that one guy said to...

I had a similar problem a while back. It happeend sporadically but typically afte a few minutes of driving. I didnt remember my exact code but it referred to the front wheel hub. There is a TCS wiring harness coming out of each wheel hub. someone told me to clean them with that dilithium stuff. Probelm went away after that.

any other solutions? i guess ill call the dealer tommorrow to bring it in. i just went to drive it and it acted up right away.

Try adding a little brake fluid. It happened to me and I came to find out the brake fluid was a little low causing a false reading on the sensor.

the code i pulled was 38RTD real time dampening. dealer cant look at it untill wednesday.

My 98 coupe did that everytime I went over railroad tracks to fast. My 99 just did it to me the other day when I was on a very very bumpy road. I forget what the codes where but I know the ground cleaning thing is a cure for it.
