At the track I get some very high tranny temperatures & inconsistent readings. Although I ran 265+ at the track, there was never any evidence of over-heating when we dropped the pan. So, I had Mike Norris installed a temperature gauge at the beginning of the discharge from the tranny back to the cooler. The difference between the probe & the new gauge was as high as 40 degrees. Even running hard in the mountains, according to the gauge, she never went above 220, which is what I would expect based on the large cooler & the TC 'lock' programming. According to the probe I hit 250-260. Makes you wonder about the accuracy of the GM tranny temp probe.

Just saw this post......
I have a Dewitts Radiator and tranny cooler and my tranny temp hit 268 and CEL came on. This is very interesting. How hard/$$ is it to do what you did for actual temps.
