by a 16 year old in a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville. That's right this kid pulls up next to me at a stop light and starts reving his engine. My wife, his girlfriend and I can't stop laughing. When the light changes he lites up his front end and leaves me for dead. I pull away slower than usual. I don't want to encourage the lad.
Never fails, something funny always happens when I take out the Vette.

definately the mature thing ... So many kids are not very good drivers and at high speeds they are worse. cause alot of accidents!
Speaking of Buicks. I had a kid pull up next to me back in College in a buick skylark. Small 4 door, white, looked like a dog. I was in an 87 Buick Grand National with mods (it was fast) The light turns green and I nail it thinking I'll just go a block and stop cause he is going to get smoked. Well we go a block and I look over and that car is right beside me and this kid is looking at me grinning from ear to ear. He was probably laughing at the look on my face. Anywho, we let off the gas about then and i had to turn to goto class and he just kept going straight. I never saw him again and have no idea what he had under the hood but it was stinky fast. I think I remember seeing a T-Type emblem on the back of it but don't recall buick making a t-type 4 door skylark. It wasn't a V8, car was not big enough but it was quiet.
You never know what your up against just by outward appearances.
If it had been a ricer, it would have been the other way around, for me anyway.

Most of those kids don't really want to race. They just want to watch you take off
guilty especially if you have an aftermarket catback... hell i was revving out guys when i was in a 97 ford escort just to hear the other car take off. im just as bad now with my own fast car and always drive with the window down listening to those pipes sing
