New in the Vette world
Beware of permagrin. Some people get it so bad that their faces hurt. It will eventually diminish somewhat, but never goes away.

Nassau blue is a rare and beautiful color. Good luck!
so just let me know what you guys think! Is this car at a dealership or private owner? I'm not sure about current pricing but it does sound a little high. I will say that you are better off to pay a few more bucks for a car that is excellent condition as opposed to saving few dollars and buying a car that has problems. Repairs can be expensive. Another major factor is the tires. New tires will run upwards of $1000 so keep a close eye on that. And make sure they are run-flat and if they are not you need to be aware of that. I'm sure you are also aware that blue is a very limited color and harder to find therefore you may have to pay a little extra for one in nice condition, and the 6spd actually makes the price a little higher because there is even fewer of those in blue. Bottom line is go out and "look" at as many vettes as you can and you will gain experience with each new one you see and then you will be better qualified to spot the "right" one when it comes along.
Thanks,
Seth

so just let me know what you guys think!Mine (2000) was bought in the dead of winter (if there is such a thing in Texas), 29,000 miles, 6 speed, dual zone temp, HUD, Power seats, both side - memory opiton T/C - A/H, tinted glass, 1 hardtop, and new Firestone Firehawks with painted 2000 style wheels. Stock exhaust, stock motor, 12 disc CD, almost new cover, and 18 months (14,000 miles) on remaining GMPP and all service receipts. No leaks, compression and leakdown perfect. **IKES** Don't shoot me.. got it for $21,500.
Swapped out what I had on my white one - exhaust, wheels/tires, blackwing and some other odds and ends, then sold the white one (99) for 22,000 two months later. In my case it definately paid to wait for the perfect deal... my 99 had every option known and 48k on the odo when I sold it.
