I've been wanting to get a baseline with the current mods I have before I introduce forced induction by means of the ECS Novi 200 s/c kit. I was pleasantly happy with my numbers, all the while knowing with a tune, I could squeak out a few more. The funny thing about it was the guys who did my dyno run are all Ford fanatics...there's always good smack-talking going on between us. The first guy said, "I think you'll get 280 at the wheels", the second guy said, "You'll be lucky if you get 300", and I was guessing around 310. Here's what I got:
1st run - Max Power = 334.26 Max Torque = 343.34
2nd run - Max Power = 332.58 Max Torque = 347.57
3rd run - Max Power = 329.94 Max Torque = 335.79
I'm waiting for the printout to be scanned so I can post it here.
So you picked up about 30RWHP (give or take) from Supermax Headers and Stinger Intake without a tune? That is pretty darn good..I assume you have a 6 speed? I have those same mods, and added heads/cam and barely got 400RWHP
I've abandoned the idea of doing a H/C setup in favor of FI. After speaking with Chris @ ECS a few weeks ago, he said with his Novi 2000 kit I should be able to see around 500 horsies at the rear wheels.
