Chrome Hoops!!
I am thinking about buying Chrome or Black hoops for behind the seats of my C5.

Does anyone have pics of how they look up close & do you like them after they were installed? Do they get in the way when you reach behind the seat to get items from under the top area?

NN I had the padded one...easy install and added to the look of the car. GBVette has the chrome and also has pics on how to. Bottom line remove carpet cut around the area. Drill 4 holes for each and use self tapping bolts.
Contact Gary or I can seee if I can find my pics. Toughest part is cutting the carpet neatly

Got mine from WCC and i get alot of compliments. There were a few useless comments
I guess they are to some people. But to me they give my car a more racer look. And that is what i was looking for when i had them installed. Each to his own right?

If you recall, there was a vendor at the CI last year selling and installing chrome hoops @ the NCM. I know forum members JTE and Tobasco got them installed there.
I don't recall the name of the co...but maybe they'll be back this year? Ask Adam if they will be there, or ask Brad (Tobasco) about it, he could probably tell you more.

You have the laugh at those folks with the "usless bling" comments. They're the same folks with painted calpiers, car lowered, chrome exhaust plates and tips, "Corvette" lettering painted or color inserts, aftermarket wheels, Lloyds mats, etc, etc. Nothing bling about any of that huh?....and yes, I have most of it too.
