Default Fuel Treatment

Firestone shops sell a 3-step product to clean your fuel treatment.

Apparently it works well according to customers. One vehicle couldn’t pass emissions, but after this treatment, it passed. (Not a vette)

Has anyone used or have any input into this product? Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Product Name: QMI-Everwear 3-step Fuel Treatment

At PepBoys when I worked there many moons ago, we sold a fuel additive that "Guaranteed You Pass Emissions." I've never once seen it work.

I prefer to keep my fuel system clean anyways. Good gas and Lucas Fuel system cleaner works for me.

I had nothing but positive feelings so far about this product! I had serious issue with my engine lately thought that I needed a head & cam job .. it was so bad. We fixed that issue and then used the solution and cleaned out everthing! Idles fine rev's so much better and overall feels better on the car too! Hey it just may all be temorary fix but for now Im a believer!

Carbon build up? Rough idle?

Try a seafoam treatment or just a bottle of techron every oil change or evry 6 months.

I've only used Techron in mine.

Seafoam is

Originally designed for saltwater marine applications but does wonders with filthy intakes, throttle bodies, etc....I use Deep Creep when I need to spray stuff off and clean the throttle body. It also works as a great rust buster and lubricant for those bolts that just won't break loose.

(BTW... any Seafoam product, however it is packaged, is the exact same chemical)
