My right rear run flat is worn much more than the other three tires. I have a chance to get an almost new run flat taken off of a brand new
C5 car but it was on the left rear. I assume that it could be turned around and used on the right rear? Are the run flats symmetrical on both sides? Anybody have experience with this?

Just finished a 5 year body off. Car scored 98.9 out of 100 at our NCRS chapter meet. Unfortunately, will drive it little until it goes through the entire judging process (probably national). That's why I have the Y2K coupe -- to drive.
I had my fronts switched side to side to even out the wear -- they look the same on both sides of the tire. You should be ok as long as you maintain the correct direction on the tire, and as long as the height of the new tire is not much different than the other side due to wear. Don't know how much is too much. I'm sure someone on the forum knows the maximum difference.
