I'm thinking of upgrading my stock exhaust system to a better sounding and more free flowing system.
I know there are TONS of systems out there. Borla, Corsa, B&B. I was just wondering if any of these and some I might be forgetting are REALLY that much different?
Dont they all do the same thing? How much engineering can you really do to some pipes?
Id love to find a site that might have most of them in sound clips so you can hear them side by side. It doesnt look like this is a hard upgrade unless you mess with the headers and all. Id just like to start somewhere and I really dont know what to do.
Can someone please post some good sites that might be able to answer some of these questions?
Best to go to a Corvette meet and hear them for your self. The sound and looks are what set them apart. Some sound better at idle but may drone on the road. Some don't drone buy you may not like the idle. It is a personal thing.

100% agree.
The thing about exhausts is that you cannot replicate the real sound in a sound/video clip...
If you want loud...almost over the top loud and mean sounding exhaust, take a look at the B&B Bullets. I will warn you though, they are very agressive, even at idle. But boy do they sound awesome at WOT. They are also saving me money in gas as I find I am in a higher gear in neighborhoods now so that I don't annoy with my exhaust note.
