I hadn't either but looked them up online and they do exist, apparently they are made by Cooper. A friend of mine says he can get a new set in stock sizes for 450.00, which seems pretty good or is there a better brand out there that may cost a little more but is a much better tire.
I have them on my '02, Mastercraft Avenger ZHP is the model, the have been very good so far. Last summer while taking sharp 20mph turns at 45mph going up and down the mountain to Big Bear CA the performed very well, stuck to the ground like glue. Some of the hair pin turns I really pushed it and the rear never slid out on me
I don't know how they compare to other brands because they were on the car when I bought it last year. You can get info if you go to the cooper tire website.
We sell a ton of Mastercraft tires. In my opinion they are great tires for the money. They are priced right and offer a large variety of sizes/types etc. I still have the stock Supercar G/Y's on the vette, but all of my other cars are running Mastercrafts. When the time comes for new rubber on the Vette, I will not be putting G/Y's back on.
I have mastercraft tires on my fleetwood cady and think there great tires. Between myself and my older children that have there own cars. We have or have had five sets of mastercraft tires with GREAT results. Durability, wet & dry performance with lots of trouble free miles. I will definately buy again.
