I bought my car at the end of February with 2,900 miles on it. I'm now at 4,500 miles. Everytime I drive this car it feels just as good as the day I drove it off the lot. I really can't get enough of it. I don't ever see myself getting sick of it. I'm really pleased with the purchase I made.
Is it just me or do others have this too?

Same here. What I really like about it is that it has a great balance of
power and daily drivability straight from the factory. It's been a great
car.
I haven't driven my car since last Tuesday because of the weather. I think I'm actually starting to get depressed. I am glad that I put gas in it Monday night. I've been cleaning the car everyday over the past 3 days. I just used Griot's Speedshine on the Z. Stuff works REALLY good. I'm actually tempted to take pics of it right now and post them. I can't stop looking at it when I walk through the garage..It's kinda like that Armor-All wax commercial.
Let me just say this, I have owned 11 Corvettes, including a ZR1 and a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo C5, and this STOCK Z06 is my favorite Corvette to date! I love it.
I spent all of last week cleaning it since it was raining. Car was spotless lastnite. It came out for exercise today, becuase the weather is good. Needless to say, it is covered with pollen and there's bugs all over the nose..Ya know, I hate to mess up a clean car, but what hell, it is a car and it will be driven. Pollen, dirt and bugs are no match for a little soap and water.
The Z06 is a jewel..It does at times feel too good to be true..the throttle response....incredible powerband..handling..I was talking to a guy who was complaining about the brakes...saying they fade...well I must not be a good enough driver..to get them to that point..
i would have to say i experienced the same thing - was originally planning on keeping my impala for a daily driver, and only using the vette on weekends. but i got the vette in august, and drove it almost everyday for 2 weeks. when i got back in the impala, i knew my love affair with that car was over.
It'll be a year in August that I've owned my car. It's seen rain, snow, sunny days, trips to NY, NJ, Mass etc. It is absolutely the most fun car I've ever owned....and my previous car was a Lingenfelter motor'd 4th gen 'vette. It's far more fun that that!
