I.E., were the cylinders "oiled' (by pulling the spart plugs and squirting oil into the holes)?
If not, then I would suggest that you pluu the plugs, and squirt, very little, some LIGHT oil into the cylinders - than spin the engine a number of times (short intervals).
Replace the plugs (and change the oil!).
Attempt to start the car, but do not race the engine, let it idle and listen to ensure that the lifters are not "clattering".
