What is this?

I need to pull my PCM to send off for a tune. I searched the forum and found that the PCM is located behind the right front tire. The reason for my post is that I noticed a “box” just left of the fuse panel in the passengers foot well. Before I did the search I thought this was the PCM. I have a 2004 A4 coup can anyone tell me what this box is?

i think the one in the pass foot well is the BCSM. Body control something module. Not sure though.

The big silver box in the passenger footwell is the BCM - body control module.

It controls most of the interior car functions, security systems, etc.
