Personally, I would not have done it.
I had a pic in my mind of my 85, with non-pop ups, and a scoop. Now that it is done, I am putting it back the way it was. Maybe this guy would like to do the same if he did not have so much wrapped up in it.
What you see in your mind, and what it turns out to be, can be two different things.
I would think though that if he is taking it to be seen, he likes it. Thats all that matters.
I do think he should have went all out and did something with the back, to match the rest of the car.
