Default Possible to install Dual Zone?

Is it possible to install Dual zone air one a '99 FRC?
What is involved?
Is it just the control panel or what?

The short answer is no from what I've read. There is a whole bunch more to it than just the display. The controls automatically regulate the duct openings to allow for the change in airflow on the passenger side of the car.

Default Dual Zone?

It's not impossible to do so, but the manual controlled system is altogether different from the auto system, i.e. different actuating systems etc. including the control head. No, it will not work.

That is usually a cold ( weak ) solder joint . Easily repaired by a person with a bit of soldering knowledge .

Really?
What about when the womens bitchin she's cold, its 40 degrees out and you want some freaking air?
Plus, since these cars don't come w/ heated seats your stuck having to sweat or dare crack the window

DVD setup looks nice, I don't know much about Jensen, (I thought it was just a Wal Mart cheapo thing) but it looks good, and looks like the $1800 Pioneer thing thats touch screen and navi, blah blah blah.

BTW, I didn't know that dual zone was an option for '97
Looks good.

Doesn't somebody make covers for the 2 larger side vents?
I know you want to have warm air blowing on her and cooler air on you...but perhaps you could block her vent and keep other vents pointed at you.
...just a thought.

Thanks, every car I've had has normal HVAC (except on ALL '94-'04 mustangs, they dont have the option for air on your feet & face at the same time )
I love how on her parents Jeep Grand Cherokee it has dual air, and even more relative, how my moms c6 vert has it

I really think I will put it to good use. BTW, just a quick question (yea, yea, search blah blah, how many Arctic White FRC's were made? (Including '01) (They did make it in '01 ZO6 right?)

The more gadgets, the better. I love the Dual Climate Control.

But installing it on a manual climate control car could take a donor car to get it all and get it right.

I say, just enjoy the 3 dials.
