Default Seat broke :(

While I was driving today; my seat made a ' pop pop pop' sound and went down.

I am unable to raise my rear of my seat now. I can hear the motor working when I push the button; but nothing happens. I can move everything else.

Any ideas?

Did you check the grassy knoll?

hahahaha

(yes, it's probably in poor taste, but it was the first thing that came to mind)

Default Broken seat

Trim Spa, Jenny Craig, South Beach Diet, Weight Watchers

I wish mine would break so I would have an excuse to get some aftermarket seats.

I moved the seat forward; and this is what broke. Anyone have any spare parts?

That sucks! Good luck with the repair. Were you doing something with the controls when it broke? What do you think caused the part to fail?

I weigh 178 pounds, all i did was sit down..

I went to my Chevy dealer; and they dont sell the part. You have to buy the whole thing

I read somewhere that someone had extra parts on here.. I need to look around

Fred Beans might carry it.

Gene at Karshop maybe.

(Both supporting vendors can be found on the left side-bar)

Best of luck.

Do you have the part number? If so, please post it, we'll see if we can locate one for you.

Hey Oak how you doing? I used your parts and sent my parts to another forum member-charged him the same as u charged me-free parts and free shipping
A friend of mine did use the JB Weld tape on that exact part. It is a pliable tape that you mix and it has held up for more than a year now on his. Otherwise it is the whole assembly. Thanks again! Jim
