Default Pulled Over.

On the way to work this morning , 4:45 ,wonder if he was looking for drunks ? Anywy I was doing a atad over 50 in a 45 ,changed lanes no blinker.He asked if I had modified the car , YEs sir , what have you done,car seems rather loud? GHL exhaust sir. Do you have catalytic converters? Yes sir , it was just inspected and passed completely !
He did not say a word about the blackouts or no front plate , gave me a warning ! Nice guy and I see him there almost every day ,just had my head up my a** today ...... I forgot to tell him about the headers .

Actually , brown , it was a DPS guy , first time I have been pulled over in the vette and I knock on wood its the last . I just put a plate cover on the front after 2 years of driving with the plate on , glad he didnt look ! IF you respect them for the most part they will respect you and he is just doing his job!

Good for you. I almost always get the same respect as I give LEO's. There have been one or two bad experiences, but it hasn't changed my opinion overall. LEO's have a tough job to do and I respect that, and in general they appreciate not being messed with when they are doing their job.

and I know they have to put up with alot of aholes, if I screw up .speed , or what ever I expect to pay sometimes .It was my fault , not his !

Good stuff. I got pulled over the other day (details in another post... lol) and the officer also let me go. It's always good to see stories when cops make the right call. The Vast majority of police make good decesions, but you only ever hear about the bad ones, so there is an unfortunate negative perception about LEOs sometimes.

Gee, in a state where you can own a friggin MACHINE GUN you'd think having an exhaust that was a tad loud would be OK.

i've always found if you pull over before the catch up to you .. they're a lot nicer.
