LG headers are a good choice - one of the best. Consider the Dynatech system also (should be a little less cost). As far as bumpers go, my favorite is the Tiger Shark setup - awesome looks IMO.

If money isn't a consideration id say LG Pro Long tubes. I personally prefer an off-road setup but if your circumstances require you can go with the high flow cats. And the borla quad tip stingers.

I'm running the LG Street Series, off-road pipes, and Borla Quad Tip Stinger and i love it. I'm going to try Borla Straight Pipes though because im a noise freak and i want it a little more loud.

I almost went with the Dyantechs, but when LG lowered the price of their Street Series, it was an easy choice. I did the LG streets, x-pipe, and high flow cats and am very happy. That set up added 30RWHP to my 02 Z.

A higher end set up might have a better x-pipe (the street is a stamped version and I am not sure it is perfect), but for the money and gains it is a very nice set up.

Are the straight off road borla pipes louder than the stingers?

That is pretty cool since they are quite cheaper!

If money is no object, go all in on the headers. Jet-Hot coating, have an extra wide-band O2 sensor bung installed, Kool-Sox on plug wires, thermo tec heat wrap on any wires near headers. May not be necessary but good peace of mind. May wanna go with Elite Engineering ceramic coated tunnel plate as well to increase stiffness/reduce cabin heat. Great time to do it when exhaust is out.

I agree with most advice given.. get the LG's or Dynatech Headers with hi-flow cats. For the cat-back portion, that depends on how loud you want the car.

The loudest systems are: BB Bullets, SLP Loudmouths, Borla Straight pipes

or loud but not crazy loud (according to my ears of course) Borla Stingers, GHL's, BB PRT's, etc..Corsa Indy exauhst

quiter yet: Z06 stock TI exauhst., BB Rte 66, Mangaflow, Corsa Pace Car

Excellent advice. That is exactly what I did.

I just had the magnaflow 4 tips with x-pipe cat back put in. They don't sound nearly as loud as they do on their website and just barely louder than stock. However, they seem to have added a bit more jump to my car. No headers yet

I'm pretty sure they are since you're pretty much running open headers at that point. Won't know how much of a difference till i try them though. Saving up my pennies.

Just finished the install last night.. it was pretty painless considering... I've never seen headers fit so well... NO seriously they fit that well.. Also the sound and the gain... OMG.. haven't hit the dyno yet... but lets just say with short list of other mods I couldn't get traction in any gear...

Also after shipping i'd spent less than 700 for Ceramic Coated LT's, shipped, with connecting pipe and O2 extenders. Technically there were no other parts required... I did plugs/wires and alternator while i was at it... Turned on and bam no codes and working great.. I"ll be putting a write up on it later after i'm off the dyno with some real results.
