I have a chance to pick up a used exhaust - Corsa Touring with Pro tips. $500.00 installed in exchange for my factory set. Are the Touring very loud? I am looking for increased sound but not ear pounding, I am not familiar with Corsa Touring, Any help out there would be appreciated. Thanks, Duds

The Touring is the next step up from the stock setup. It's really quiet at idle but gets an aggressive growl at WOT. The next step beyond that is the Pace Car...As far as I've been able to tell, most guys with Corsa's have this one.
The price you quote sounds like a very good deal to me.
You really need to hear them for yourself to decide. IMO, Touring is not loud enough, Indy's are too loud. For the money, jump all over that deal. If you don't like them, you can sell them for your cost or better.
It won't be much louder. At idle and regular RPMs, you'll barely hear a difference over your stock set up. At WOT, it will be a bit louder than stock. I would go for it just for the fact that the Pro Tips will look great! Note that Corsa's do not give you that growly muscle-car sound. It's more of an exotic higher pitched sound.
I'm looking to by the same set-up from Corsa (sale ends Sunday) The Corsa people say it is a little louder. But their sale price for the set-up is $955.00 w/o install. I'de take it an run or drive all the way to the bank.....

damn good deal depending on what condition its in but touring is pretty quiet
Hmmmm, maybe it is my LG lt's/xpipe, but my Corsa Touring is pretty friggin loud. Even at the drag strip, many people commented on how bad @ss loud mine was. Even at idle they are loud (not horrible, but WAY louder than stock). I would not want anything louder.
Here is a video. Please no comments on my crappy driving. It was my VERY first pass and trip to a drag strip. Yes, I missed 3rd. Yes, I ran a 12.02. Don't worry, the night got better and I'll be in the 10s before too long. Anyway, sounds pretty loud to me.

I agree totally with the above assessment. I switched from the Corsa Pace Car to the Corsa Touring and it is just barely louder than the stock system, even at WOT. At cruising speed, it may even be quieter than the stock system. The pro tips look great and there is a seat of the pants performance improvement. Go for it.
Not too much louder than stock, but the tone is definitly nicer. Especially when you stomp on the go pedal. They do seem to be quiter at cruising than the stock ones. Plus they look awsome.
If you don't want loud but want something better sounding than stock, then Touring is the way to go. Since you said "Installed" and your stock pipes in trade, is the person selling going to meet up with you and swap them out? If so, see if you can meet him and listen before you buy. If they are in good shape, you can't beat the price. Good Luck
That is the exact set-up that I have. I love the fact that you can carry on a conversation in the car with them, but have a great sound when you get on it. Great price! Don't pass them up!
Good price, I paid $650 for a set with ten hours on them. The owner had done h/c and longtubes and told me they were way loud with the mods. He went with Z06 ti's. To me a touch louder to 2000rpm, them progressively louder a nice F1 type scream at 6000rpm. I have 8000 miles on mine, and they look like new. You can always resell them.
i heard some in a mates vette, and spent a year trying to get the best deal i could find... found it im an awesum fellow CFer at 700shipped for Indys -- 500$ even tho for touring is insane!! well done now git em on
