C5 Transformed by Dynotech Engineering
After two LONG weeks, I picked up my C5 from Dynotech Engineering after receiving a number of upgrades. These included a custom cam, ported/polished throttle body, underdrive pulley, lowering on stock bolts, alignment to Z06 specs, and the Dynamax LT header system.
Without a doubt, all of my expectations were met by the great folks at DTE. They promised that I would grin from ear-to-ear when I started it for the first time. Man were they right! The car is exactly what I wanted it to be. The cam definitely gets attention. With the LT headers, high flow cats and the Borla Stinger system already on the car, it's definitely loud! It dyno'ed at 385 rwhp with 368 rwtq.
I can't say enough good things about Phil and Jenny at DTE. They know their stuff when it comes to Corvettes (and Hummers). They spent time up front understanding what is was I wanted it terms of horsepower, drivability, etc. They then translated these wishes into an appropriate set of modifications for my car. They nailed it...
Phil even saved me a chunk of change by recommending that I not go with the Crane 1.89 ratio rockers that I had asked for initially. For the cam grind he selected for my car, the upgraded rockers were not needed and he didn't want to have a customer spend money for any unnecessary modifications. How many other businesses would do this?
Bottom Line - I HIGHLY recommend Dynotech Engineering for anyone considering performance upgrades for their Vette.
