Orded and quickly recieved my radiator screen from Elite Engineering. It is a quality piece and the fit and finish are superb.
HOWEVER........I spent three hours installing what was labeled as a 20 minute job. By no means am I tool shy and have been where few men have gone in all the cars I have ever owned.......this should have taken less time that to down a beer.
Currently it is on. BUT the top of the air dam strikes the screen as it runs across the opening. So much that the dam will not travel its normal motion that the sprongs allow to absorb light strikes.
This pic shows that there is no clearance between the screen and the dam.
Anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it.

I put mine on last night and it took less than 20 minutes. I did it a little different than the online directions. I took off the airdam, including the 2 aluminum brackets. Then took off the 2 side screws. Then took out the 5 screws that hold on the front fascia.
You have to bend the screen so that it has a curve to it. Looking at it from under the car, it is concave. I then slid the front of the screen under the front fascia the lifted the back up. Put in the 2 side screws, the 5 front fascia screws, then put on the airdam, including the 2 alum brackets.
Hope this helps.

I know what you're saying. There is a little interference with the air dam, however nothing to worry about. The air dam is there for two reasons. 1) deflect air upwards into your radiator and 2) to rotate slightly when you go over a speed bump or curb. It will still work fine, and the rubber air dam will still flex when you drag over something. Mine's been on for over a year and I love it.

I didn't even try to move the air dam after I reinstalled it. I'm sure it will be fine and move enough to do what it's supposed to do. They are very inexpensive and easy to replace.

This time I drilled new holes on the tangs that come down on each end. It gives me another inch or so at that point and did help the dam v. screen a bit.
I guess it is what it is. Just wish it allowed for the "normal" amount of dam travel.

Thanks.......................
Exactly same situation here.....also the two side screws weren't long enough once they were inserted in the screen "tabs". I just left it as is for now....didn't have, or want to think about it any more. Works fine...192 degrees water temp...so it didn't affect/minimize air flow.
Maybe you got it in wrong. It is possible to mistake the proper way. When I first installed my screen, I had some problems as you guys. Then I noticed I had it in wrong, turned it around in and within 15 minutes it was on - everything lined up and nothing was a missed.
I didn't have any problems with my install. Probably took me closer to an hour, but I spent some time cleaning out the area before putting the screen up. My air dam still springs back like before.
