Default Tire Suggestions?

Getting some 255/35/19s and 295/35/19s real soon

Don't ask why the weird sizes but that is what tire rack told me will fit on my wheels.

Which is the best brand for good traction wet and dry and also decent life like 25k miles or so?

Also does anyone have these for sale?

Thankz!

The Michelin PS2 comes in those sizes - I have the tires (not in those sizes) and I really like them. It looks like you could run a wider tire than a 255 in front.....

I'd think so too but tire rack said 255 is the largest for the front for certain! Because of the offset of my wheels

BTW they don't have ps2s in 295

I'm running a 275-35x18 PS2 on a 9" wheel in front on my car.

Also - just because they don't have the size you want doesn't mean it isn't made or that they can't get it for you....

Check out this link...

The tire sizes you're looking for are listed on the chart. What offset are you running?

I run 10.5x19's with 285/30's on the front. 255's are skinny for a 10''!
305's on a 11'' is good.

I don't know exactly what the offset is but the wheels have a 3" lip on them so that is probably why...I know I'd love to run a wider tire but without body work I can't right now.

What do you guys think about brigestone KDW 2s?

I think 255's on 10" wheel is too skinny, I would go at least a 275. Oh and BTW - the KDW2 is B.F. Goodrich, not Bridgestone. The KDW2 is nice tire. It's also known as the KDW-NT (New tread vs. TT for Traditional Tread).

Look at the Michelin chart I sent you - it also shows the recommended wheel widths, maximum and minimum for each size.

pilot sport or the ps2s?

blacksedan87: I tried to explain above that I can't run any larger tires than what I listed lol. The tire will rub the fender because my car is so low and because of the offset of the wheels. Can't argue with tire rack techs who have tried it already
