LS1 Dart Heads 225cc
Has anyone tried these yet? I was in MSI today and noticed a set.
$2000/set. 2.05/1.6 valves if I'm not mistaken. I may try these with a C6Z cam in my c5z just for fun.
I have pics if anyone is interested.

well, how did the car run? I found some posts on ls1tech that mentioned oil burning problems from those heads modified by tsp.
I wonder how much of a problem this really is.
The heads are so cheap, but I've known dart to make good products in the past particularly for fords.

My buddy never got a good pass with his car. Mine with the 205s runs in the 11s. I still need to get back to the track when my new clutch gets in.

Funny you should ask, I have my buddies 02 Zo6 on the dyno right now.

When he had it out to conneticut, their dynojet reported 420rwhp @6800. Im not brave enouugh to buzz a stock lower end to 7200. But there sure is some serious descrepancy between the #'s
Anywho,
After lunch Im swapping on the 225 darts (right out the box, cleaned only) and will do some more pulls. I'll overlay the two and we'll see what these darts are really worth.
Does anyone know how to post in a windows metafile? (the only format DYNOMITE exports the graph in)

Here are the results:
The power curve below 4K was nearly identical, above it made about 20 more HP- throughout the whole curve. For a total of 365 @ 6800rpm. Remeber these are land and sea #'s-very stingy.
Once again, I will email you the windows metafile if you can figure out how to post it. When I put it on my website, it doesnt popup on a different link. It's just pops up on the screen.
