If you're glad your vette isn't black, then you're most likely driving a dirty vette around. Most of these post say, "black is so hard to keep clean, I'll stay with my light colored vette, is doesn't show the dirt and dust". I'll stay with my black coupe, and yes it is a career .

I see both sides of this issue. Wife has a black Monte SS, I have a silver Vette. Black is a PITA but looks great for almost an hour after washing or dusting, if not driven. They both get California Duster'd after each drive because even though the dust doesn't show on the Vette, I know it's there!!

I honestly don't know how I ever survived before the Duster was invented...

We have a black 2001 C5 coupe, a black 2002 Monte SS and live on a dirt road in New Hampshire. After last weeks floods the roads are still a mess with debris, rocks, mud etc. Yes THE car is dirty, but is built to be driven so I drive it dirty if I must. I wash once a week, Cali Duster everyday and ask for no sympathy.
